Hey guys! Today’s post is going to be my June Ipsy unboxing! A little late now that it’s the beginning of July, but better late than never-right?? If you are unfamiliar with Ipsy, then make sure you check out my first Ipsy unboxing post, where I explain the service in depth! Otherwise, let’s jump right in!
The first thing I got this month was the Marc Anthony Dream Waves Beach Spray. This is a texturizing spray that is supposed to give you sea salt beachy waves, like you have been swimming in the ocean. Basically turn you into a mermaid-which I’m all for. It smells super good too, like coconut and sunscreen-very beachy.
The next thing I got was the Boo Boo Cover Up Concealer in the shade ‘light’. This has tea tree oil in it to help with breakouts, and aloe and chamomile which is supposed to soothe. It’s quite thick, but creamy at the same time. It has really good coverage, but make sure you set it right away to avoid creasing due to the formula.
Next, which was probably the most ‘exciting’ thing in this month’s bag , brand-wise, was a mini single pan of Urban Decay’s eyeshadow in the color ‘Lounge’. This is a shimmery duo-chrome eyeshadow that shifts between a tealy green and a reddish brown. It is quite a bold statement color, which will honestly probably limit my use of it, but it is really pretty.
My favorite thing I got this month was the Julie G nailpolish in Tropical Matte. This color is soooo gorgeous, I’m in love! I’ve worn this several times already and get so many compliments when I do. It such a beautiful, bright, tropical feeling blue-perfect for summer!
The last thing I got this month was the Juice Beauty Phyto-Pigments Luminous Lip Crayon in the color ‘Zuma’, which is a pretty cherry red. This is a moisturizing balm crayon that starts off pretty sheer, but has a buildable color. You can swipe on a thin layer which gives you a nice flush of color on your lips, or you can build it up to a brighter red. It has plant derived pigments, such as rose, eggplant, moringa and daisy, which is pretty cool and it feels really nice on the lips.
So that’s it for my June Ipsy unboxing! I really liked everything I got in this month’s bag, I will probably actually use all the products I received. If you subscribe to Ipsy, let me know what you got in your bag! Or, if you have used any of these products before, let me know what you think!
