Sephora Play! – February 2017

February Sephora Play! Bag

This is my first Sephora Play! subscription bag, and I’m super excited!!  As you might expect, the bag for February is very sexy and sultry looking…well as much as a bag can be.  I do like the bag idea, instead of a box, because at least you can repurpose it in a more practical way.  I also have to say, that already the Sephora Play! subscription has a lot more brands and products that I have heard of and have wanted to try than some of the other beauty subscriptions.  So let’s discuss what we got!

First off, let me get the least exciting thing, for me at least, out of the way.  This would be the perfume sample.  You get a perfume sample in every bag, but at least you still get 5 other products, so it’s almost like a bonus.  My sample was the Marc Jacobs Divine Decadence, which I must admit I have been kind of curious about because I have heard a lot about it from beauty Youtubers and such.  My nose was thoroughly disappointed – smells like old ladies, hard pass.  Moving on, the next thing I got was a sample of the Sephora Lashcraft mascara.  I did use this once and I liked it; I mean I wasn’t blown away, but it looked nice.  Next, which I was super excited about, because I have been wanting to try these, is the Too Faced Lip Injection gloss in the shade Milkshake.  This looks pretty on the lips, but let me tell you, it burns.  Like, an uncomfortable burn…but beauty is pain, right?

The next thing in my bag was the Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream.  I was kind of ‘meh’ about this, mostly because I don’t really use eye creams, though I probably should.  Though, I was super excited about the mini Nars Velvet Lip Glide in Bound.  This is so nice!  I really love the color, like a deep muted mauve, and it feels super comfortable and creamy without being thick.  The last thing I received was the Clinique Pep-Start Hydroblur Moisturizer.  I am obsessed with this.  It’s such a strange texture, its like a white thick silicone-y texture, but it is super moisturizing!  And I feel like my makeup goes on so nice when I use this.  This is one I might spring for in full size.

Well, that’s it for February’s Sephora Play! bag!  I can tell you that I am anxious to see what’s in the next one, since this one was so good!  Let me know if you subscribe to Sephora Play! and what you think of it!
