Hi everyone!  Colourpop is one of the most hot, up and coming brands right now.  Not only do they have great quality products, but they are super affordable as well!  Today I’m reviewing the new Colourpop Ultra Satin Lip.  I’ve tried a few other products from Colourpop and loved them,  so I was super excited to try out this new lip product.

The Ultra Satin Lip is an interesting product.  It’s like a matte liquid lipstick that doesn’t dry down.  So, it is transferable and will wipe off if you touch it.  That being said, it still has a matte finish.  The formula is really great because you still get the matte look, but without the super drying effect that matte liquid lipsticks tend to be famous for.  Also, even though it will transfer, it still has good staying power, especially if you avoid eating and drinking.  Though even when I did eat/drink with this on, it didn’t come off completely, there was still some color there after.  The only con I have for this product is that the darker color went on a little patchy, but I was able to fix it by simply applying a second coat.  I tried the colors ‘magic wand’ and ‘panda’.  ‘Magic wand’ is a really pretty soft peachy nude color and ‘panda’ is a fun pinky purple color.

Overall, I really love the formula of these new Colourpop Ultra Satin Lips.  They are the super comfortable version of a matte liquid lipstick.  Plus, the best part is they only retail for $6 and have 20 beautiful shades to choose from.  You can purchase these from the Colourpop website.  Let me know if you have tried these and what you thought!
